Polystyrol (PS)

Polystyrol (PS) bristles for brushes and brooms

Polystyrol is one of the oldest known synthetic resins, thermoplast material. It is a colourless, glassy, transparent, rigid material, and good insulator. It does not dissolve in water, but soluble in organic solvents. The shock-resistant polystyrol products have good mechanical properties, can be easily coloured and for these characteristics it is a more and more widely used material in brush industry.
