Polyethylene (PE) bristles for car and fruit washing brushes

Our polyethylene products are produced from special, low density polyethylene (LDPE). Its tensile strength is smaller, but it is used for producing more elastic fibres. It is flexible, water-resistant, cleanable and very durable. This product family is designed for car washing equipment with attention to the needs of car washing brushes.

Physical and chemical characteristics

• Density: 0,91 - 0,93 g/cm3
• Physical state: semicrystalline
• Melting point: 118 ºC

Chemical resistance (on 20°C)

Excellent against water solutions of detergents.

Washing brushes of cars, lorries, buses, wagons.

• Not oiled

Length of bundle:

Flagged at one end: 120 – 1000 mm
Flagged at both ends: 120 – 1000 mm

Depth of flagging: 8-12 mm according to demand

Our standard colours are given in our colour sample collection. In case of significant quantity is demanded, also different colours can be manufactured.

Size range

• in PE foil tube with bundle diameter 55-57 mm or 58-60 mm
• wrapped with PE foil with bundle diameter 60 mm in accordance with demand

Packaging

• Fibre diameter 0.20 – 0.50 mm: PE foil tube with bundle diameter 55-57 mm
• Fibre diameter above 0.50 mm: wrapped with PE foil with bundle diameter 60 mm
